Man, It's been so long since I've last posted I'm a whole year older!!! Haha...3 days ago I turned 22 and celebrated with a large group of family over dinner for the actual day and the weekend before I had a girls weekend without any kiddos! Woohoo!
Haylie-Bug is so excited for her birthday she can hardly stand herself...poor girl! LOL. All I hear about is "her birthday party next weekend." She also has no concept of time..lol. Eric and I are going to redo her bedroom with a full size bed, new dresser, nightstand, etc in time for her actual birthday and then her party will be a week after her birthday due to Eric's work schedule he works on her birthday weekend. So far I've been able to keep her gifts for the actual party hidden and a surprise....the bed isn't so much of a surprise, but she is excited for it. I have 4 of the big Furreal Friends animals hiding in our closet she will be so excited for. I've always bought the newborn and medium sized ones to see how she would take care of them and keep up with them before I spent about 50 bucks each on one. I still see them all regularly and have even had to change the batteries in them for her so I guess she really does enjoy them. So far she has also asked for teacup piggies, a sandbox, new cowboy boots, jewelry/make up and the go go walkin pup...I intend on her getting everything like that from us except the make up, because she will use the lipgloss all in one day and be sticky and the sandbox is kind of an iffy one between Eric and I, but still possible or maybe a compromise of a sand/water table. My Dad may end up getting the go-go walkin pup for her, but other than that I think her list is pretty do-able and I already have clothes/pjs/shoes and pajamas hiding in our closet, too. I think it is time for her to have a jewelry box, because she tends to keep her jewelry in the droor of this plastic vanity she has, but sometimes forgets to put it back, because it is in the playroom/storage room. She can keep her jewelry she only uses at home in there still, but her stuff from compass and such needs a special place so it doesn't get lost. I scheduled her 4 year visit which entails like 5 pokes or so for shots the day before her party so I can outweigh the bad with good the next day, LOL.
Chase is FULLY WALKING! My last post he was just taking a few steps here and there, but now the boy is fully walking/running/turning/etc. Luckily, he listens very well when I tell him stuff and understand when I tell him to do something or not to do something so it's not a tedious task to keep up with him. However, when in public I will hold his hand and he will walk next to me, but he has the attention span of a fly. If he sees a leaf of a different color, a bright colored object or even a clear plastic lid from a drink someone threw out he will stop and stare at it and want it...and he is still the ladies man. We went to eat at the Rainforest Cafe and afterwards we rode the train around the mall and once we got off I put him down to walk and he stopped and pulled me back and back...and back, because he was looking at the lady conductor we had. I let his hand go and he walked right over to her and wouldn't leave. Eric came over to see what was wrong and I told him the ladies man found a new woman and wasn't leaving without her, lol. Finally, we had to pick him up and carry him off till she was out of sight so he could be put down again, but after a couple of stores he sat outside with Daddy, his uncles and Aunt Leslie and the little turkey wandered off into the store across from where they were sitting which was Abercrombie...lol. He didn't want the clothes...just the ladies, haha. He's eating anything that won't eat him first, drinking from a straw and regular cup (he doesn't get the regular cup on his own, though...not ready for that disaster) talking, pointing and saying when he wants something, walking, running and generally just too darn grown and into everything!
Eric is currently at work busting his butt on his days off. They're moving the rig from Ponder to Sunset and depending on the exact location he may be staying off a couple nights a week on his week on, because about time he drives home and has to drive back he won't be getting nearly enough sleep and not to mention gas around here is getting out of hand. He works 2 weeks a month and I don't really do too much driving just grocery shopping, random shopping and appointments, but so far we're at $700 this month alone in gas. Luckily, he got a promotion/raise then another raise a couple weeks later during all of this. So far, gas hasn't hit us like it has others and it hasn't changed our habits really besides I try to better plan my outings so I don't back track constantly, but sometimes I have the spur of the moment back track. However, once it hits close to 6 bucks a gallon I see us buckling down on extra trips and piddling around just for the sake of it. Luckily, with it being spring/summer we will have lots of options of playing outside at home and there are places to swim/picnic/etc close by plus the mall play area when it's just too hot/sunny. Winter time is when it gets a bit harder to stay close to home. Hopefully, tomorrow's half day is the last he is working on his week off then Tuesday he has a driller's meeting, but it shouldn't be anything more than a few hours.
I'm still on the weightloss train kinda...just gotta get my butt back in gear. I was doing so fabulous on it and then for the past week or so I've been eating things I shouldn't plus having some soda, but just 1 every day or 2 and I haven't been exercising as I was. Last night I made it a goal to at least get out there and do something with the tiny amount of time I had before dinner was finished...however, I ran a half mile...did ya read that?! RAN!! I ran a half mile!! Now, it about took the life out of me, but I did it! I have a bum left ankle right now and I dunno how I did it, but I ran and didn't give up...my ankle was numb afterwards and didn't hurt, but a few hours later it hurt again. I'm still just on my Phentermine once a day and I take anywhere from 25-50mg of HCTZ with it along with my other pill not related to weight loss. Doc said he wouldn't up it, because I was making progress with 1 and it was great progress not just a little. I haven't done anything with the HCG yet nor will I...I am starting my bulk cooking diet where I eat fresh/steamed veggies, fresh fruit, 93% lean beef (only once or twice a week though and a tiny portion) and chicken breasts and have it packaged where it is easy to grab...snacks will be fruit/veggies, greek yogurt and beef jerky...couldn't find any turkey jerky when I was shopping. I will still have special cheat days, but I am being conscious about it and the fruits/veggies I am eating are low carb and low sugar...even though it is a natural sugar I want to keep it low. So, I will update on the weight after a couple of weeks on the new diet and see where I am. I don't go to the doc until October for anything so I have to track myself and watch my own blood pressure. So until next time............:)

4.13.11
New me? Old me? Something like that. Well, since I've last updated a lot of changes have been made in my life. I finally got everything squared away with the Mirena people and they had it shipped to my doctor overnight once I was done. I am no longer a baby factory as of March 23rd. Hopefully, in a few more months time I won't be as large as a factory either. I have started my weight loss journey to happiness. Now, I can't lie. I have been happy with my family and life, but sometimes that icky ol mirror gives you reminders that as much as one may love food....it isn't loving me back. I don't eat a ton or sit and stuff my face with unhealthy junk constantly, but I had the soda addiction I could never break.....not even during pregnancies. It was bad news. I started some medications March 24th and went soda free immediately. I had no juice, no sodas, no mixes, no milk, nada....plain jane water. The problem I have with water is as much as I hate it one of my medications causes extreme dry mouth...we're talking if I talk for a couple mins I am to the point of choking from being so dry and I've formed the habits if water is in front of me I must drink it and cannot leave whatever container it is in until it is empty. Drink. Pee. Repeat. Today will be 3 weeks and 20lbs lost. I still have a LONG road to go and some changes in medication to make, but I can do it. I have a goal to be able to run a mile like nothing everyday. I hope I can make it out alive. I have wanted to mix the HCG injections in with my other meds, but it is so hard to find a doctor who will prescribe it. I may try another pill and other combinations once I discuss it with my doctor at my appointment on the 20th. I'm nervous to see the scale at his office....I mean it is the OFFICIAL scale I go by in the end and the one I use for home use is the secondary. I've got the blonde hair back, working on the body and hopefully the tan will be coming back really soon. It's ME time! I'll be 22 in a tad less than 3 weeks and I may be a mom and I may be a wife, but I wanna be a good lookin' one for my kids and husband.....and myself too, of course.
Haylie-Bug will be 4 in TWO months...Yikes. This past weekend was one of her best days in a loooong time! She got to see her "best friend mantha." Samantha hasn't been able to see us or my dad and his wife since the middle of last year due to some issues between my dad's wife and her daughter (samantha's mom) and they missed all the holidays with us including samantha's sister's first birthday and Chase's first birthday. We had a party for Samantha and Leslie together at our house and it was fun! We all yelled surprise when Samantha walked in and she was in shock...she had no idea. She found Haylie and just stayed in one spot hugging her forever and gave her a kiss on the cheek. She cried for Haylie constantly and finally her witch...I mean mom told her Haylie moved. Now, Haylie is excited and rushing to have her birthday so Samantha can come. Poor girls...it's not fair they have to miss out, because of adults being children! Haylie has decided we're doing a My Little Pony theme and she just wants to have food, family, friends, a small pool and to play outside on the swingset/playhouse and trampoline. Cheapest party yet? I hope so!! LOL.
Chase is 14 months old now and he isn't fully walking, but he is also being a total turkey. We will let him wander off to Haylie's room and we will sneak around the corner and catch him walking clear across her room and once he sees us he falls on his butt and crawls. We cheer him on when he walks and make a huge deal out of it, but apparently he isn't ready for us to know he is a big boy and CAN do it....he is just selective as to when he wants to. He is drinking out of straw and has been since the day after I last posted a blog. I was so excited I wanted to make a blog post just for that, but of course I got too busy! We're teething right now and it's not fun, but we will make it.
Eric is doing well....he got sick this past week at work and his very loving and caring wife woke up bright and early out of bed to take him some medicine out to location which is over an hour away and in the middle of no where by the way. His Mom drove out there the 2nd time he needed more and different medicines since she is a lot closer and her car isn't 90 bucks to fill up and getting 12mpg. Thanks, Obama! This week off he made me the shutters I've been wanting and we stained them and hung them together and I think they make the house look MUCH better.
Well until next time........

Happy St. Patrick's Day from ours to yours!
I know it has been quite a while since I have updated, but with a husband, 2 kids, 2 dogs and a rabbit life runs fast!
Haylie-Bug is almost FOUR! I can't believe how much she has grown, I have grown and our family has grown. She is an amazing little girl with so much spark to her. She is VERY independent and wants to do everything for herself and everyone else. She currently has a set of chores she has to do everyday and if they are done without me constantly staying on her for them she gets a special treat. She makes her bed, folds and puts up her laundry, gathers her laundry that doesn't always make the basket to bring it to me for washing, helps unload the dishwasher, sets the table, empties the bathroom trash, etc. She tells me daily she can't wait until she is big enough and old enough to sweep the floors like mommy. Kiddo, I bet when you're old enough you're going to wish you had a time machine to go right back to being little. :)
Chase is 13 1/2 months and EVERYWHERE!! He followed his sister's addiction to the dishwasher. I cannot open the dishwasher to unload/load without him "helping." His Mama and Dada is now turning into Mommy and Daddy. He has a pretty good vocabulary including Batman...thanks to my nephew! We are W-A-L-K-I-N-G!!! He isn't at the pace he can go too terribly far, but he is too cute walking. I give it about a week or so before he is "running" around in the stores like Haylie used to. His sister is by far the most entertaining toy ever. Currently, she is hiding in the bottom door on the entertainment center and he opens it to find her and runs off laughing. The dogs have been very well fed thanks to him, too. I guess he saw us feeding them a bite of food from the table a few too many time so they're given food from his highchair daily. I think Easter will be super neat for them this year since he is mobile and not so tiny like he was last year.
Eric is doing very well. As most of you know after 5 years he left 407 and went to rig 323. He really likes his co-workers over there and I spend a lot of late nights on his week off listening to them on the PS3. Little boys I tell ya! Well, the old pusher off 323 is now a superintendent for Patterson and offered him a job on 407 (it was stacked, but they're bringing it back out) as not only a driller, but lead driller. He was also told he would be offered the first available spot as a pusher if he wanted it. After lots of long talks, long thoughts and such he decided to accept the offer with the exception if the rig is ever stacked again he has a guaranteed job elsewhere. It was agreed and he goes to his new rig on Sunday. He is going to work 2 weeks straight so he can get on the right week. One of the good parts about this is Eric is now off Christmas, Thanksgiving, etc. I think the only real holidays he works are NYE, Easter and 4th of July. He also chose to go back to working 6am-6pm which I finally got used to the nights, but I'll readjust soon enough. This is really awesome for our family. We now have even more disposable income and money for savings. His pay rate was going up by 7ish an hour plus Patterson just announced new raises within 2 weeks. Their raises are usually anywhere from 2-5 more an hour. I'm so proud of him that I can't tell him enough or find enough ways to tell him. I am SO lucky to have him as my soul mate!
Kenai and Kimber had a nice visit to the vet yesterday. Kimber had come inside Tuesday night and smeared blood on me, but I kinda just thought they got the roughhousing a bit too much and no big deal. Kenai had been kinda sick, but I still didn't think much of it. I guess with those 2 I need to start thinking a lot more...lol. I took Haylie and Chase outside to play in their playhouse/swingset and jump on the trampoline when I noticed the dogs acting funny and staring at something. It was a lovely..........rat. Apparently, Kimber had killed it and I'm sure Kenai helped and that would be where someone got blood from. The rat put up a fight, I guess. I immediately freaked out yelled for Haylie to run inside while I got Chase. I came inside to call the vet to see if I could bring them in and My Mom so I could drop the kids off. Luckily, it was nothing once we got to the vet and Kenai just got his rabies shot since it was due anyway. Oh, and I got him some new medicine for his ears since the "wash" stuff wasn't cutting it. I swear they're more expensive than the kids sometimes. I wanted them both groomed terribly, but Kenai couldn't be for 48 hours since he just had a shot. So, I left Kimber. Heh....I have bathed him myself before and it wasn't such a big deal, but I think seeing the metal holding kennels and people who might resemble the pound to him took a big toll. They called me and said he was getting sick EVERYWHERE and they had to rebathe him and keep him out of the kennels. Yep, my dog pooped all over the grooming place...heh. They felt so bad for him and it was just sheer stress from being scared. I wish I pooped when I was stressed...I'd be super skinny!! The people in there know us, because of Kenai and when I scheduled his appt for Saturday the guy who really knows us well called dibs on Kenai..lol. I don't think I'd beg to wash a huge dog with a ton of fur especially for his grooming where he is shedding his winter coat, but hey, I can't complain that someone loves the big galoot. Kimber has gained 20lbs since his last vet visit which was a couple of days after I got him and Kenai is still an oaf at 105 1/2 pounds. Kimber was 86.
I'm doing wonderfully especially with my amazing kiddos and their daddy doing so well! I finally made the step....okay gave up some shopping moola to close the baby factory and now these people are holding me up!! What gives?? I priced the tubal ligation with both doc costs and hospital costs, Essure procedure and then Mirena. I am currently doing the Mirena, because I would rather spend $1k vs $5500-5600 and then end up needing a hysterectomy thanks to abnormal paps. My Doc is certain they will go back to normal after all the procedures I have had done and such, but just in case I am a cash patient and money doesn't grow on trees. My Doc called in the Mirena to Bayer or whatever and I called back in to give them my debit card number and they were not ready yet....umm okay...over a week later and they still haven't called...seriously?? I am begging to give you money and you won't take it? I wish they would hurry, because with my luck I'll magically become fertile again and still be out the money of the Mirena...I'm just that lucky of a person.
Eric and I have STILL been having the building of a house debate. I am not ready for the stress and such of starting it like right now and want to wait a while and he is......not listening to me. I told him we could find one if we searched long and hard that had most if not all of our wants and just do some remodeling and replacing of appliances instead of starting with dirt. He went by without me to look at the land and is really wanted to buy it. Then, he gets my dad involved who then jumps me out and tells me he will do the rough in at cost and all labor for free so not to worry. My Brother made the same offer and I didn't jump for joy and accept....woohoo I have plumbing...I need electrical, bricks, walls, floors, appliances, fixtures, etc. I don't want to cut any corners and I also do not want to take out ANY loans. Debt is like a major no-no to Eric and I. Oh well, I am already getting stressed typing about it...lol. I agreed we would price flooring, electrical, plumbing, etc and see what we're in for just to make the king happy.

Chase's Birth Story.
In light of Chase turning ONE tomorrow I figured I would finally type out his birth story.
Friday, January 27th I had a regular check up appointment with my OB who was surprised to see me. He had been telling me for quite a while I was going to have the baby by such and such...well, I was there and still no baby! I asked him about doing an induction just in case I didn't have this baby before I was due to see him next. I explained Eric had a week off at a time and his first day off for the week was February 3rd. He then proceeds agree, but stops and asks are you sure you wouldn't like to be induced on Monday? I told him no, because Eric wouldn't be off yet. I told him the baby and I did good by not going into labor while he was out on vacation and we would be good and wait until Wednesday for Daddy. So, there it was set I was to be in L&D by 4am to get things started.
I continued on the next few days like normal, but pretty lazy days making sure every last thing was in place.
February 2nd I got up and got ready to head to Wal-Mart and Granny's Tacos. I saw my favorite cashier in Wal-Mart and we talked...I told her I was having the baby tomorrow!! She couldn't believe it. She said I still didn't look all *that* far along to be ready. I assured her even though I felt pretty good I was ready. We headed to Granny's Tacos so I could have one of my cravings and food ready for Eric to eat as soon as he got home and we could go to bed around 8pm. My Mom spent the night that night so we didn't wake Haylie leaving.
February 3rd I woke up ready to do cartwheels, run a marathon and take on the world. Eric and I got ready and grabbed our bags. I checked in to L&D telling them we were here for the eviction, hehe. I put on my stunning and oh-so glamorous gown and hopped into bed. My nurse came into the room and asked a million questions I've already answered a million times, but I complied. She left the room for quite a while..then came back to put me on the monitors; Of course, that was a game of chase with....Chase. She then left AGAIN for a while and came back to get my IV going. She HURT like I have NEVER been HURT before. She disappeared and came back with some pitocin...FINALLY!! We started the pitocin around 6AM. I sent Dana a text to tell her we were all ready to go and just waiting now. She made her way up there about 6:30 and the contractions started about 6:45. At first I really didn't make it known I was having any. Soon, I would be in mid sentence and I would just start breathing and have my contraction while squeezing on Eric's hand and finish what I was saying. There hadn't been a nurse in sight since I started the pitocin. Around 8:45 I finally told a nurse I think I am too close together to not have an epidural. She checks the machine and freaks out....gee thanks lady!! She opens my IV full blast and runs to get another bag of fluid to hook up full blast. She calls my doc and the anesthesiologist. I go into a panic attack when I am leaned over the edge of the bed and by this time I had a new nurse and I strongly disliked her. They both told me well we don't have to do this and we can leave....I wanted to punch them both in the face for being so rude! I calmed down and my epidural hurt 10 times less than my IV. Go figure. I laid back down and Dana came back in and Eric went to go find cappuccino since the coffee he had wasn't cutting it for him. My OB comes back in while Dana went to take a phone call and Eric was SUPPOSED to be getting just a drink. (I later found out this sneak was scarfing down an omlette and hiding it from me since I couldn't eat and threatened to kill him.) My OB looks around and goes where in the world is your husband? I told him he went to get cappuccino and he nodded and told me he was going to break my water. I agreed and he went on mumbling about the nurses and how he needed mine to hurry up and get in there, because he can't do it alone. Finally, she waltzed in and he broke my water...or says he did. I couldn't feel it. He tells me he is going back to the office, but he will be back at lunch time and we're having this baby. I lay my head back down and wait for someone to come back in my room. Eric and Dana came back in and I told them he broke my water and we were expecting it to only be another 2 hours maybe. Soon, I start feeling the contractions again and I call my nurse. She had the anesthesiologist come back and she asked where I felt it and I told her in my back on the right side. She said she didn't think it would help back labor, but could try. I told her I have only had back labor all of this time and previously with my daughter. She said okay and loaded the machine up. I was painless a few minutes later and back to resting.
My nurse came back in to check me and said, "Oh!!! We're ready!!" They started prepping the room for delivery and called my OB. Soon, everyone was there and we were ready to push. I pushed twice and there he was thrown onto my chest. I kissed him and my doc cut the cord. Eric and I (he's gonna kill me) sat there crying watching every move the nurse made with him. My OB said goodness that is one long baby!! The nurse said 22 inches to be exact and 7lbs 6oz. They wrapped him up and brought him to me. I talked to him as he looked up at me. I let Daddy hold him then on to Dana. The nurse from the nursery came in to give him a bath in our room as we watched. So, there we were after a little over 5 hours in labor parents of 2 blonde haired blue-eyed munchkins!!

Sunday, Sunday, Sunday!
It stinks having to be an adult sometimes...I wanna be a kid again and make irrational decisions and deal with the consequences later. Doesn't that sound like fun? Instead, I have to be level-headed and conscious of the decisions I make..pooie!! We have talked a lot about moving in October...I know, I know...we've put too much work into this place to move and I know, I know we said we would stay here for a few years. Yeah, I've heard all of that already. Eric and I sat down and discussed our best "logical" options. Our lease here is up in October, but we are going to resign until either A. The bank loan for my car is paid off so we can use the extra $500 something a month to put towards a house payment...which means stay around $1500-$1600 a month. That is logical, because we will still be living exactly the way we are now and we will still have all the extra money leftover every month, because the extra $ on the mortgage will just take place of a car payment OR B. Go ahead and stay here for a few years and once my car is paid off we will fully outright own Eric's truck, My Denali and this "rat rod/street rod" that Eric is supposed to be buying in March if he doesn't win the one from the raffle. Eric will take over the denali and I can buy a new denali or tahoe...tahoe is muuuch cheaper. Once, the loan on that is paid off we will get a house and still put that extra $ not being used by a car payment for a house. That is also pretty logical, because I do want a new car, but I REALLY enjoy not having car payments...and that will give us PLENTY of time to see we expand our family. Now, we could just run out there get a new house now...finance a new car once the denali is paid like I thought sounded good without any logic put into it, but our goal is to own everything out right in a decent order...cars are cheapest and quicker than a 30 year home loan so that is where we shall start first. The house we live in now is okay, but man I want my dream kitchen...lol..being an "adult" stinks!! So, I guess we're here for at least another year and a half or so or maybe another 4 years depending on option "a" or "b." I know eventually I will need a new car so it looks like option "b" sounds a bit better for us.
Mom's doctor's visits went really well. She is off the transplant list for at least a year, but it looks like the meds hit the spots on her liver and are controlling them very well. We wll check again in 3 months and continue to every 3 months and see where we go from there....but hey it looks like she may beat the "time" she was given...that's a BIG plus!
Kiddos are still doing great. I'm so anxious for Chase's party on Saturday. His shirt for his birthday came in the mail Saturday and I just about bawled my eyes out. He isn't a little itty bitty teeny weeny baby anymore...he's going to be a big boy toddler now. *Sigh* I had to have some Mommy Time and just soak all of this in...my kids are getting too big...I'm not getting any younger...however, I am getting skinnier (woohoo!!)...the stress of figuring out house/car situations, My Mom, etc...luckily, My Brother is off of my stress radar for now, because he found a job. I also, sat and thought about how lucky I am to have the most amazing man I have ever met in my life to stand next to me and love me every day no matter what. I have 2 smart, beautiful/handsome, loving and thriving kiddos who love me like crazy. I have a brother who some days I wanna strangle, but he loves me and I love him and we're great friends...He would do anything for me and I'd do anything for him....even go plowing through his yard, because some guy is standing outside of his fence...or threaten a process server who was trying to be sneaky, but acting shady...yes, I am just as crazy as he is. I guess all around I am lucky and I truly am VERY happy and have been for some time. I don't think I'd have it any other way!

---2011---
Wow!! I can't believe we're already almost 3 weeks into a new year! Time sure does fly when you're having fun....and really busy!!
As most of you know My Mom has been awaiting a liver transplant for about 6 years now and in November we found out she now has cancer. We have already done a chemo imbolization which she didn't like at all, but the staff on the oncology floor are great! We are actually going for a new MRI tomorrow and to see the head of the liver/pancreas disease specialist to talk with him and Friday she will see the oncologist. We know that this should of "killed" the cancer off for a little while, but it is something that will always come back. We are in a big rush to get the transplant now, because if it grows back before the transplant she will be disqualify and it turns into a matter of counting down...So we're gonna keep our fingers crossed!
Chase is now 11 1/2 months old. WOW! He is talking a little. He can say Mama, Dada, Nana, no and bye-bye. We're still not walking...maybe within a couple of weeks he will pick up on it! We're having his birthday party January 29th and just doing a home party with very few people....until a few other people can learn to respect me and get their act together they will not be included in our lives. I ordered his cake today and it really hit me that my "baby" is soon to be a toddler! Ahhh!! A Mommy to TWO toddlers...*sniffle* He is so darn tall it's crazy, but I don't have any exact stats as we do not go to the doctor until his actual birthday...Feb. 3rd. Nothing like getting a bunch of shots on your birthday! Poor guy!
Haylie-Bug is....well...Haylie-Bug. She is so grown up and independent I feel like she is going to just pack up and move out in no time. She helps take care of Chase more than most adults!! She loves that boy like crazy and she isn't scared to tell you either! She has been on my tooshie that she needs a baby sister so she can have 2 babies to take care of and since Chase is a boy she needs a girl. I asked her what if Mommy had another baby brother and she just was not having it...at all! Silly girl!
Eric started this year off on a new rig. After 5 years on 407 he decided it was time for a major change. He really enjoys his new rig and likes his co-workers. As long as he is happy I am happy, too. Overall, he is doing very well besides dealing with a crazy wife..poor guy!
I'm doing great! We've worked on the house a bit more and bought some new furniture. It's just a half circle table and rocking chair, but it made the living room look a lot better. I've been taking pregnancy tests for almost a month now and even had blood drawn...negative. If nothing pops up by the end of this month I guess I better go to the doctor and see what needs to be fixed!! Darnit Haylie!! I'm trying for that baby sister! Eric and I found a house I really did like...the only downsides were no fence...even though it was on acreage we have 2 big dogs who do not know their boundaries unless in a fence and the master bathroom still needed to be completed (by the buyer.) I am really wanting bronze appliances and everything done exactly to my liking....so we have decided we want to build, but we need to organize our life first before we build a house to fit us. We're playing the field with baby #3, but if it doesn't happen soon I'm really considering following a path Eric really wants me to...he wants another baby and this too...but I'm not trying to be superwoman. Eric has it in his head I NEED to open a restaurant. He isn't the only one who has been on me about it and I even have people offer to pay me to make things for them...weirdos..hehe!
Last but not least...My Brother finally got a job!! Woohoo!! He has been out of work for about a year and times were getting trying, but he has a job now so things can really only look up. He had an offer of moving out of state and I guess he really must like me, because he didn't want to move away from me....we live 2 blocks apart and both of us are really weary of moving unless we know the other will be close by. It's convenient being so close and we see each other almost everyday and if not we talk everyday.
All in all life is going great at the moment and heads are held high and we're just kinda floating by..... day by day.

Gobble, Gobble!!
I can't believe Thanksgiving is less than 2 weeks away!! I am really excited.
Haylie hasn't had a chance to make her Thanksgiving/Fall crafts yet, but hopefully today/tomorrow we get a chance to at least make a couple of things together. She is so much fun now that she actually understands holidays. It adds even more excitement for me, haha! Haylie is doing well and growing right before my eyes into a young lady.
Chase had his 9 month visit this past Tuesday and he weighed in at 20lbs 2oz and was 29 1/2 inches long. We didn't get any shots, but they did prick his finger to test his iron level. That little stink did not flinch, cry, whimper or even bat an eye for that matter. I was in shock. Haylie would of been hollering causing a huge scene and out of that office as fast as she could. I guess, he has to be manly and brave for his momma! I finally went out and bought new sippy cups!! Hooray!! They're insulated, hard plastic spout and have a leak proof valve. He has done great with them and I have no mess!! I gave him a cup full of cow's milk and he took it like it was no big deal. I did try giving him the sippy cup at bedtime and he did fall asleep, but woke up a few hours later, because it just wasn't the same as his bottle. Since he uses his sippy cup all day I figure a bottle for a 9 month old isn't going to hurt and formula in a sippy cup? Yack! He knows the word "no" and will shake his head no at you, haha.
Eric is supposed to be on days off, but he has been working on another rig for the past 3 days. Today is luckily the last day so I can still have Sunday, Monday and Tuesday with him. He is so amazing I just can't put it into words sometimes! It is really nice to have someone tell you how much they love you every single day and show it constantly. Yesterday, he brought me long stem white roses when he came home from work...just because. I'm glad I have such a loving husband who is an amazing father to the kiddos. He truly is my other half and I'd be lost without him....really, I would. Hell, I'd probably have no clean clothes, either. LOL. I hate doing laundry.
I'm still alive...barely. Haha. I started up taking the HCTZ again last night and 2 birth control pills and will do the same again tonight in hopes of having some control over my body. It'd be nice to look like I'm actually not a lazy bum who stuffs her face constantly. The HCTZ worked like crazy last night. I was getting out lots of water! Yesterday also marked 1 month being off of birth control....woohoo! I do not miss paying for that depo to make me miserable! I have been waking up extremely nauseated the past couple of mornings, but I'm not prego. I'm excited for Thanksgiving for so many reasons! I am buying a Honey-Baked Ham and I think from the sounds of it we're having 3 turkeys? I know I am not buying 3 hams though...at 50-60 bucks a ham I'm not that crazy. We normally set up the Christmas tree on Thanksgiving which Haylie liked helping last year so this year she will really dig it. I am not sure if we're still going to set it up on Thanksgiving Day or not, because family will be showing up around noon ready to eat. After they leave I get to clean up and nap a bit until I get up and get ready to be waiting at Target at 2AM. I want my tv, dammit. LOL. Then, we may set up the Christmas decorations/lights outside on Friday, but if not then DEF on Saturday. I am almost done completely as far as Christmas shopping goes. I have some minor things to get, but other than that I get to relax, enjoy the holidays, bake and be merry.
In case I do not post until after Thanksgiving I hope everyone has a great day!
